Terms of Service

Effective date: October 20, 2026

These terms are between you ("Client") and Own the District ("we," "us"). By signing up you agree to them.

Service

We provide a website, automated texting tools, a review funnel, and related marketing tools for home service businesses. The system runs on our platform. Details of what's included are described at signup and on our website.

Holding a zip code on our website lasts 48 hours and is not a purchase.

Payment

$297 per month, billed monthly. No setup fee. No annual contract. You may cancel at any time; see Cancellation below.

The 10-Day Promise

Your website will be live — meaning published on your domain with forms, chat, and call forwarding working — within 10 business days of completing the onboarding form. If we miss that deadline, your first month is free. "Live" does not include carrier approval of your text-messaging number (see Texting Registration below).

Texting Registration

Business text messaging requires carrier registration. We file your registration on day one. Approval typically takes about a week but is controlled by the carriers, not by us. Texting features activate as soon as approval comes through.

Your Domain

Your domain name is always yours. We configure it to point to your site on our platform. If you cancel, we remove the site; you keep the domain and can point it wherever you like.

Cancellation

Cancel at any time by emailing us or calling us. Your service continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. No further charges after that.

Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for having lawful consent to contact any customer lists you upload for campaigns.
• You configure the review funnel. We build it to your specification and are not responsible for how customers use it.
• You are responsible for ensuring your use of the service complies with applicable laws, including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and state equivalents.

Our Right to Decline

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service to any client at our discretion. If we terminate service without cause, we will refund any unused prepaid days.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 30 days. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost leads, or indirect damages.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll email you 30 days before any material change. Continued use after the effective date = acceptance.
